Golmaal 3 – Review

Yes, Golmaal is back again! Rohit Shetty and his team have managed to pull off a laugh riot once again! The movie is a definite watch for those who love comedy. The first half of the movie scores better for its back to back comedy sequences. The second half is slightly less on this front. You will wish for more comedy in this part but this is not to say that the movie looses its grip on the audience in this portion. The entertainment factor is definitely there.

The story has two groups – Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade in one and Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor and Kunal Khemo in the other – who are constantly fighting with each other. Destiny or should we say Kareena Kapoor aka Daboo brings them together when their parents Mithun Chakrobarthy and Ratna Pathak Shah get married. Pranks are played in order to outdo and to get rid of each other till the time the boys come face to face with a reality. But don’t worry, there is not much crying. We are after all watching a comedy movie! And adding more fun to the plot are two adorable gangster and an inspector with his constable.

Performance wise everyone has done a good job. Kareena Kapoor is fab with her antics and Mithun Chakarborty shows why he is loved by so many people all over the country. His Disco dancer act has drawn a lot of applauds. Ajay Devgan, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi and Kunal Khemo have all contributed well. Watch out for the sequence where, on Kareena’s provocation, the gangster unknowingly abuse the inspector. It is completely hilarious! Then there is Mithun Chakarborty cycling after Ratna Pathak Shah with the song from Disco Dancer playing in the background followed by court scene where the two get married. The forgetful act of Johnny Lever, the stammering of Shreyas and ofcourse the now famous act of Tusshar Kapoor will make you laugh aloud.

Watch this movie. You will definitely love it. Rohit Shetty can go ahead and make yet another Golmaal. We will love it.
